How does one bolt the billet grille like Eleanor has in?

I had to get those extra billet pieces welded to the top bars of the grill, and bend them down on the tips to bolt to the horizontal sheet metal that goes across the front of the car. Like where the radiator bolts up to it. Of course I had to cut the extra billet pieces to fit first. Let me know if you want pics. I can get some. I painted the new bars black, bot the top of my grill is cover by the long hood anyway.

Hope that answers your question. Unfortunately there is some assembly (welding) required apparently like I had

That would be good if you can. Our kits may not be the same ones, mine came from http://www.bkcustoms.com and there were no instructions. If you look at the photos on their website you can see how they connected theirs, but it is unclear how those aluminum brackts on the bottom attach.

I'm having trouble with that link right now. Also you may consider just hacksawing the extra billet pieces to how you need them (very easy to saw), and drilling holes in them, and the bottom, or top cross cars of the grill, and using some of the bolts, and lock washers attach it all that way (if the bolts will be coverd up anyway). Welding that stuff is a major PITA because the metal is so soft, it all wants to melt apart. If there's another way I'd try that before welding it all unless you know a very good welder. I had an airplane mechanic weld mine, and while it got done correctly in hind sight I'd probably just drill the holes, but my set up would not show the bolts on the grill.

Our grills are a different design, but the same in the way they came. If I can get my work digital camera I'll post the pics up tonight.

by these pics it looks like they made a bracket to attach the top of the grill to the hood latch -

The bottom part of my grill had tabs on it that I bent up drilled holes in, and attached them to the bottom part of the upper nose section.

The ones on Eleanor are meant to rivet on..

You should consider the difference in the quality of those bk grills to ours...

The bk grills are bolted together and will loosen over time. Ours are welded, fully polished, have 30-40% more fins and bolt to the stock locations...

Hey Edbert ,, sorry, I was away a while.
After seeing all the responses and taking into account what I was going to say, well, there is no single way to do it. I made a bracket , the bracket attaches to the grille and the aftermarket radiator support I have Pretty much like everyone else. I will take detailed photos and email them to you if it may possibly help you out. Just let me know !
