My 68 coupe started out its life with AC, but the PO removed it. There was a few more things that he did that I didn't agree with too but he also did some good stuff. Whatever.

No matter how I adjust the sliding heater/air controls, I get lesser or greater amounts of hot air blowing out of the vents down at my feet. This includes while not in motion, in motion, and at any adjustment.

I'm 3 weeks away from getting back to my car and would love to attack it with an idea of what to do to fix it. Any great ideas out there?

Thanks.

Rebuild heater box with a kit from one of Mustang parts shop. I did and all my troubles stopped. There are sponges and gaskets and over the years they dry out and rot.

Hey its not bad I had mine rebuilt and put in a new heater core and defroster hose and distribution box in 3 hours! You said PO removed A/C well did he dash parts also?? That will tell how long your repair will take. A/c adds about
1 hour longer then non A/c cars.
