Hey all, I usually post in the fox section, but thought this would be good here.

I have an engine that seems to check out numbers wise as a 302 four barrel engine from 68. The yard I got it said it came from a 68 Mustang.

Got it just for a core to build but may not need.

Is this worth more than other old 302s?.

The 302 4 V is fairly sought after .If it is a 68 302 4V look in the top of the heads between the valves and it will say 302 4V in raised letters .

Thanks. Its got the 4v in the heads.

If its ok in this forum, whats a going price.

I got it to use the block many years ago, because I have heard the 68 blocks are good, and I have one in my 82.

Really not sure what they are worth .guys building Shelby replicas like them because that is what the Shelby had in them .They are a smaller cc head ,i believe the same as the HI PO heads .I have a 4V in my 35 Ford pick up and it has plenty of power . The hardest part to find is the heads .
