a few years ago I put a 429 and c4 in my 68 I made my own mounts using 390 block plates and 289 frame mounts I would like to get it in a little lower and hopefully keep it under the hood I have a rpm air gap manifold on it I've considered doing a mustang 2 suspension that would free up a lot a space I have tried finding info about this haven't had much luck I'm not very computer internet savy

I put a boss 429 hood scoop on it just don't look right I'm looking into putting r&c suspension kit in it I looked at mpg mounts and didn't like the way they did it looks like the removed the cross member and stabilizer bar I like the idea of having more room having a solid cam taking the valve covers off is a chore but it's a lot of fun to drive

I bet it is fun! My brother built a 429 years ago and has been in storage on a stand since. I want to look for a 67 or 68 coupe to restomod and drop it in there.

It's not that hard to do very tight fit I just ordered the rod and customs suspension kit for mine hopefully that will allow me to lower the motor a couple inches then I won't have to have a hood scoop anymore
