68 Seats

I have just about finished restoring the outside of my 68FB and am now getting ready for the inside. The outside has litterally all new tin except the roof. I went with the 67 500 nose and hood. The will be candy apple with the stripes (I hear that confuses police radar )

I am looking for some front seats to replace the little ones. The fold down rear will always be down. I am looking for something with a high back for 3pt seat belts. They need to hold my 240 lb 6'2" butt in place. I do not want to make any mods to my new floor pans that I just dynamatted.

Any suggestions??

Modern style seat? Racing seats? Classic seats? There are TONS of options out there. My vote: 2002-2004 Mach1 seats/Bullitt seats.

Does that include the seat pans? do you have a tilt colume? what size steering wheel do you have?

I put aftermarket seats from M-detail, you can find them in the back of Mustang Mags, and they fit w/o any mods and work well with 3 pt seatbelts. They are a bit pricey at $1500/pair.
