7.7 with a cobra motor

just curious im planning on getting a sn 95 rear end for my 93 2.3 conversion but in the mean time i want to use my 7.7 with 3.55 traction lock rear end i am not planning on hard driving it that5 much, it has a cobra motor pretty much stock, will i be over reving, it will only be for 6 monts or so. will i still be able to keep the 2.3 break lines, i have an 8.8 but the car it comes from was wrecked and i do not want to reuse any suspension parts from said car

Do you mean 7.5? It should be fine for now.

If you mean 7.5 axle, mine has 100+ runs on it, and is in the high 12's. You can change gears in them just like any other axle. The 3.55 would be fine with an overdrive.

sorry, yeah a 7.5, it will be running off of a t5 from a 93 5.0, should i take the axle dampners from the 8.8 and put them 0n the 7.5?
