78 mustang 2 double hump crossmember

Hey guys, I have a 78 cobra 2 that I’ve been building over the past couple years. I’m currently looking for a solution to the transmission crossmember getting into the way of the dual exhaust. Hopefully there is an aftermarket I haven’t found yet... thanks

This and other stuff is available from ' Classic Auto Reproductions ' but is for T5 swaps
Not much of a after market for Mutt2 but there is more now than there used to be.
We all been looking for a good work around for duels
I will probably be going for the right hand shotgun approach with 2 pipes on pass side.
Gas tank is in the way drivers side after you get past cross member.

My old Mustang II had duals using the single hump. It was just hanging a little lower on the one side. Never had an issue running it like that for years.

Your best bet is to find someone converting to a T5 from a 4speed.
