I am new to the site and would like some feedback on installing mini tubs in a 79 coup.

Welcome to Stangnet.

Are you using a tub kit or doing a home version (that's what I did)?

Feedback wise, it's a bit of a pita. But 315's are nice.

Snoop around our '79-'95 subforums, you'll find lots of information there. If you can't find an answer to a specific question just start a new thread there. Lots of guys will chime in with help

Post a picture or two of your mustang for us to see. We're kind of picture whores here.

It's good to have you with us.

Thanks for the info. I'm using a tub kit from DMC Racing. About $150.00.

I mini tubbed a hatch back, which is WAY easier than a coupe. We have a few guys that did their coupes though. You'll find help.

Cool deal. I'm dying to get it back on the road. Probably in a few years. Plenty of time little money and a wife....
