I've heard that the 98 rear end is slightly shorter than the 99+ rear end. Does anyone know how much shorter, and what adverse affects would arise from putting a 98 rear end in a 99 car?

Wheel clearance, performance, fit, etc.

I think it was the Fox chassis cars that were shorter.

Thanks for the info everyone, does anyone know FOR SURE what years are shorter? ALso, if there IS a difference, could you use wheel spacers to make it up?
