First off I want to say thank you for all the answers to my other questions. I can't wait to return home from deployment to start working on this car!!
What are you guys running in the 8.8 behind a healthy motor?
I want to build the 8.8 to handle 500-600 rwhp(I don't have that but I want to plan for the future). What should I do?
What I know for sure:
9" Housing ends, heard too much negative stuff about C-Clip eliminators.
Gears 3.73 at least
Moser hd cover w/cap support

Don't Know:
31 or 33 spline axles
What differential?

93 Coupe w/automatic, driven on the street with 1-2 trips to the strip a month. I will possibly swap in a 5spd later on but my main goal is to get this thing going. I am new to the Ford side of things so please help me out and be patient with me plz:shrug:

Rebuild the 8.8 with 31 spline 5 lug axles w/31 spline carrier, C-clip eliminators, and use 2004 - 2010 carbon fiber clutch kit w/a Cobra "S" spring for your model year Mustang and throw away the "S" spring that comes with the kit unless your car is a 2004-2010 mustang (then use the "S" spring supplied. This should hold 500 - 600 HP.
