8" REAREND PART

i'm changing the gears in my 5 bolt 8" rearend. while trying to press out the pinion shaft the flange on the housing broke. doh i got the front yoke part off already. does anybody know where i can get this flanged housing part ? i have a 4 bolt 8" layin' out back but i'm assuming it's smaller.

the pinion flange should be interchangeable amongst all 8" diffs. I think the only difference is the axles.

the rearend i got out back won't work. it came out of a 6cyl mustang. it has the bolt on cover on the back end and just the yoke on the front.

Is the part in the attached pic the part you want? It has 5 bolts. If its want you want you can have it for however much it costs to ship it to you, I was about to make a trip to the junkyard to dump it off...infact I have all the peices from my 8 inch still..you can have any or all of it, PM me if you're interested.

Pinion support is usually what gives on the 8". The unit above enables use of larger, stronger bearings.
