I'm going to order a PRO-M 80mm MAF. Should I go with the shorty or the regular version. I'd like to get the shorty because I think it would be easier to fit in the fender. It says the shorty is generally used on S/C vehicles. Can I get it right with my twEECer?

Thanks

Jake

Don't even know why they make a long version. Anytime you can get a shorty version of anything then buy it. There is no difference in performance other then they have a 3 inch extension bolted to the housing.

It looks like the shorty has a bigger filter if that means anything.

I think I'll go with the shorty if there's no difference in calibration. Thanks Joe.

While we are on the subject; I have a home made CAI with 3" PVC and Fernco and the stock mass air meter. I recently purchased the shorty 80mm Pro M and the opening measures 3.5". What do I need to change to attach the new meter to my CAI?

Home depot sells a rubber conector that goes from 3" to 3.5". Try one of those..
