Budd Lake
We are a small restoration shop in Budd Lake, NJ by the name of Blue Sky Classic Cars. We are rapidly growing and have kept busy through these tough economical times. MAC'n89blckstng (Jesse) is most frequently on here and we have decided to make a profile on here to show you guys what we do! We are NOT trying to advertise! We are NOT trying to get any business through StangNet. We simply just have a few projects on hand that alot of you guys might enjoy seeing pics and progress of!

Current projects are a
1950 Desoto,

1960 Thunderbird, Its a full nut and bolt rotisserie restoration, its lowered, has 18 inch Foose wheels, 4 wheel disc, upgraded sway bars, a smoothed engine bay painted candy apple red, the exterior is Jet Black.

1966 GTO, another full nut and bolt restoration. This car was a MESS when it came in. Talk about some serious hackery by the last guy who did the car. The following was replaced on the car.
New used frame, the frame was bent and had angle iron poorly welded to the control arm mounts because of a botched repair.
Toe boards
full floor pan
all the floor braces
inner and outer rocker and a fabricated inner inner rocker since its a convertible
both inner and outer wheel wells on both sides
full quarters
taillight panel
front fenders
both doors
Its about to go out to paint next week FINALLY after being here for a year so far!

1966 Mustang Coupe, The only thing thats going to be original is the roof and the rockers trunk floor and quartes, literally everything else is rotted and needs replaced.

1967 Mustang Convertible, assembly and interior resto. Car was painted years ago and never finished

1966 Mustang Convertible, full resto with fuel injected 5.0 and a T-5.

1966 Coupe, clean up and go over mechanically

1967 Fastback, go over mechanically. 302 with GT40's, t-5, full pypes exhaust, full phantom gauges, rack and pinion steering. This car is going to be shipped to scotland when we are done with it.

1941 Cadillac Limo, mechanical over haul

1974 Corvette, 454 4 speed car, has less than 10,000 original miles on it and sat in a garage since 1981. We re did the suspension and drivetrain. Its got long tubes and 2 1/2 inch exhaust with an custom x-pipe and MAC mufflers.

1982 GT, the owner bought it brand new and it was his first car. We re did the entire drivetrain suspension last year and are planning on finishing the body and interior soon. Its going to be a custom black with maroon pearl in it and a black and red interior. Its got a whole slew of good parts on it:

TKO500
Spec stage 1
M-2300-K
Chrome Bullits
QA1 k member
MM full length subframe connectors
MM steering shaft
Koni Reds all around
Eibach Pro kit springs
Boxed rear control arms
new 8.8 3.73 rear
Trick Flow girdle
306 crate engine
BBK shorties
Catted H pipe
MAC cat back (we really like MAC)
I'll get pics of that thing up here, that was a really fun project.

We recently got this 83 GT Convertible in the shop a couple weeks ago. Its a VERY clean car with no rust anywhere on the whole car. Its pretty much bone stock save for a couple old school hot rodding tricks (85-93 headers, gutted stock h pipe and some old school flowmasters). Other than that its all stock. We are going to slowly do the entire car and are currently taking care of the exhaust, rear, and suspension. The following parts are going to be put onto this car.

M-2300-K brake kit
17x8 and 17x9 Chrome Pony R's
BFG G-force sports 255/40s and 275/40's
H and R springs
Koni Reds all around
Steeda Bump Steer kit
UPR Caster/Camber plates
New Ford Racing front control arms
A brand new 8.8 3.73 rear to replace the old 7.5 thats still in place.
MAC long tubes
VRS off road x pipe
MAC 2 1/2 inch cat back with 3 inch tips
We just installed an MGW shifter to replace the stock one that had a loose handle and had a one foot long throw, no joke.

We are eventually going to get a crate stroker of some sort next year or so then move onto the body and interior at a later time.

Here are the pics of the car, if anyone knows the numbers on these 83 verts, the "custom" license plate frame says, One of a thousand & one made. Does that mean this is a one of one car? Like there is only one in silver with black interior?

Yea we are absolutly swamped with work! We are in the process of having a second building built on site for body work only, right now we are doing both body and mechanical work in the same shop. I think we may have a few pictures I could get up on here of teh fast back, its not much to look at right now. Its flat black with horrid body work from the last guy who had it. It's basically a forgotten project that someone just sold to get out of it. Its got alot of good parts but needs a good going over to be sound.
