84 CFI vs Carb..What's Better?

I'm going to start by saying I'm 19 and never drove, worked on, or had a carburated car, but my question is which is more powerful the 84 CFI Essex or the carb essex. I know the 5.0 is obviously better than either, but I'm considering buying a 84 convertible CFI V6, so this question is more for educational purposes than anything.

I had a 84 gt350 that had cfi, i hated it. granted i wish i would have left it and not carbed and kept it all original but i was young and dumb and wanted cheap speed. as for a v6 cfi im sure that thing is a total slow turd i would try to find a v8 model in your price range you will be happier in the long run. jm2c

Well its only 750 dollars and for now its only meant to be cheap transportation for now..I plan on swapping it out with a early 90s 5.0 engine once I get a 3rd car
