Hey guys/gals
New here, but I have a question about my brakes...
the car is an 85 GT t-top hatch... and it's been sitting for a while, no brake lines in it.. calipers are prolly screwed... and I was looking at replacing them all just to be safe.
but when I look online, there are different calipers listed? 60something mm bore, 70mm bore... what am I looking for?
I have to buy all new brake lines, flex lines, ebrake cables, may as well do pads, rotors, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, adjusters, etc etc...
any idea what this is going to run me? where should I look for the best deals? what sizes do I need? I was looking at buying the LRS manual brake conversion kit... but not 100% sure.
the primary use of this car is going to be street, but I do want to take it to the track. the other thing is, is taht the 5.0L is not going in it, insted it will have a 2.3T from teh 87 turbocoupe (not that it should make a difference, as the car is still the 85 GT, and it still has to stop and mount up to the same 85 GT stuff).
