On another note, it seems the only way to get 79-86 mirrors is second hand right? Nowhere I've looked seems to repro those. Sucks the part support isnt as vast as 87-93

Occasionally a new part is reproduced... Keep your eyes open.
I bought these from LMR recently.. My old ones were shot.. I believe this is a new reproduction..

They are quarter window beltline moldings and weatherstripping, for a vert.

I’m with Noobz in that those seals look added. Maybe @95steedamustang can help being he has seen a few of these cars.

Incorrect weatherstrip on the A pillars. This is how it should look as seen on this 85 GT against the one in the thread.

Thanks for replying. It actually looks similar to how mine was except the one in your pic is very smashed down where the mirror lays against it. It appears the big chunk in your pic goes down to the screw holding that trim in. My did before but I cut it. Cutting did make the door easier to close but will research more on what pieces I need to fix this.

It would be cool to see more high rez images of your seals but instead of trying to piece-meal the thing together, you might want to just purchase the [correct] kit and pull that (whatever it is) stuff out.

My guess is that the previous owner picked up some one-size-fits-all door seal and was not familiar with the purpose specific seals for this car.

I have a 2k mile all orginial T-top car. I can get some high res pics of it next time I get it off the lift but I agree. The NPD/LMR kit is great! They are both DC repops
