highest trap is 104,

but i run at the track against guys with every single possible mod, and they are no faster than me, and are usually slower...

they go and get their mass air and their pulleys and shorty headers....and every other damn mod and run 13.8

just buy the mods listed and you have a recipe for a near 12 second car

... cause stone cold said so!!!

j/k man, nice times for the mods you have

I would like to hear some more tech info on this though. I would think that if you installed a plenum and tb, you would definately be able to benefit from a better maf.

the misconception of the MAF is that you are getting more air into the engine, the truth is with most MAFs they just make the engine think they are getting less air, so the engine take a little bit of fuel out of it and makes it run leaner.

the plenum, tb combo is different, because that allows the engine to suck more air in at one point in time. look at an 02-03 gts maf, it is 85mm, and has a small post, not the long posts like they used to have, and it basically is a good factory design, but you will get more power from the MAF making your car more lean, but it is just not a good idea, id rather have a dyno tune and they can figure it out.

newayz, later going out with the woman

I'm afraid he's right gentlemen. MAF is not as useful as you may think. In addition to the list of mods. I would like to add aluminum driveshaft and UD's. Doesn't hurt

aluminum driveshaft, is all right, but not many people ever see any real difference with it. now carbon fiber d/s...thats another story =D

i agree, i would like to try underdrive pulleys, but everyone always seems to have problems with them squealing or squeaking, or messing something up, not to mention w/o an impact wrench its a PITA to get the alt pulley on. i learned that on my 98.

I ran 13.706 with C&L 80mm MAF and a shifter. I can't say 100% it did something but I think it did.
