what ever because im not sure whats going to happen with this car

finally after waiting about 25 years to own a fox i have one, just picked this one up today. the body is pretty rough, was hit back around 90 and they did a quick cover up job but its a carolina car so other than rot under the spare tire the metal is solid. wheel wells look good, trunk lid is good, floors look good other than a crack from the accident.

5.0 AOD with AC, blue on blue, runs and shifts like a champ. has a 93 engine in it but retains the 86 intake so its still speed density. have to try and figure out all the details of the boltons.

not sure what im going to do with, i was hoping the body would be a little cleaner but for the price I'm happy. may just turn into a ratty summer driver, may go for a full restoration, have to figure out what im willing to spend on it.

got to love NY, trailered it home 200 miles and it got a nice salt bath.

was going to hose it down but my hose is froze and my buddy forgot his dealer plate so i couldn't take it over to the car wash. if there wasnt so many cops around here i would just throw a plate on from my ranger and drive it over later tonight.

Nice! It's good to see a fellow New Yorker on these boards too. At least now we can bitch about the winters here together.

Oh sure blame it on me...we could have stopped and washed it off while it was on the trailer. LOL

Anyway, I am really happy for ya. WTF is with this "I am not sure what I am going to do with it?" Build that thing up and start enjoying it I am not sure who owns this one but it is perfect.

lol, no biggie dave! i guess im a little scared of all the body work to make the car what i want. even though it doesnt always show im a closet perfectionist! it does have potential though. and now i finally have something to tool around in and work on.

that blue one is sweet, you see the other one the same color as mine when you check your mail.

Clean that thing up, find a decent set of ponies for it, and that'll be a decent looking car! Get at it!

no, just the backs, i think the fronts are 245/45's but i don't remember. probably going to have to remove the quad shocks, if they are even on there lol. got a better look under the car yesterday, looks really solid under there.
