I don't care what people say about them, keep them if you can. They help add stability to the rear axle.

Take it to a body shop, pay to have them throw it on a rack and see if it needs to just have a new quarter hung or it the whole rear sub has been tweaked beyond relisitic repair.

that may be a spring trip. previous owner told me he took it to a shop and they said they would put a new 1/4 on and paint it, not sure how in depth they went though.

finally put the wheels on, still needs a bath but looks like that may be a while with the sub freezing temps we have. maybe we will get a few days in the 40's in the next few weeks and i can hose it down a little.

It was only -12* here this morning, a little brisk for the car wash. lol

I like these wheels, next mod...lowering springs.

wow, i think it was around 20* when i put the wheels on, hope its not that cold tomorrow morning, going to be in the northern adk's.

i will be ordering springs before the snow is gone, just have to decide what to get. would like about 1.5" with a stiff but tolerable ride.
