86 GT Seat swap

I was wondering if the 86 GT recaro type seats could be swapped into a 92 mustang. both front and rear seats. is there any fabricating or can the stock rails be used? and does anyone know where i might find some?

subscribing. id like to know also. i love the 85-86 seats, there very comfy.

They fit I used them in my 89 coupe. I have 2 sets of 85 gt seats actually. Hard to find nowdays.

I used the seat brackets out of the 89 and had to drill a hole in the bottom of the seat because there wasnt a hole to line up with the 89 brackets (dont know why thought they were the same). Easy to do, then just thread the bolt in when u drill the hole.

the front seats will bolt right up. i have 95 seats in my car now (using the stock 86 brackets on the newer seats) and had 90 gt seats in my old 86.

the back seats may be tricky.
