Surging idle - I removed the upper intake and found that the PCV hoes is cracked to hell. This is a formed hose that I should get from Ford right?

Cylinder Balance Failure - Code 88. Pulled fuel rail and found that the plastic caps on 3 of the injectors are bad. Cracked and such. I can get these from Ford as well I assume but what are these things called? Also I will replace the "O" rings as the same time. With the bad injector, opinions on boneyard injectors? Yes or no?

Replacing all vacuum lines as well since I can get to all of them now. Question about the plstic caps on the injectors. Should I replace all the "O" rings and plastic caps too?

Thanks, finally making headway on this beast!

take the hose with you to a local parts store and they can match something up with the bend you need its alot cheaper than buying from a dealer if you have to you can use a plastic L or T to make the bends....and you are talking about a pintle cap and yes i recommend changing the pintle caps o-rings filter and spacer if you have the injectors out...you can buy an o-ring kit on e-bay for all 8 injectors or buy them 2 to a set from napa autoparts the kits contain top and bottom o-rings a spacer which is placed on before bottom o-ring, a pintle cap which can be pressed on with a 10 mm boxed in wrench and a filter which will need to be tapped in after removing old filter, to remove old filter you insert a screw into the top of injector where the filter is located and tighten screw into filter and simply pull old filter out.then tap new filter in...but usually a kit will come with instructions....

i would get a set of new or rebuilt ones....but i have had only 1 go bad and replaced it with a used one before...you can search online for new injector prices and/or used rebuilt prices or you can even have yours sent off to be rebuilt its your call...but usually if i get something from a boneyard i have it rebuilt or tested.
