87-93 1 piece radiator bracket/cover...anyone have one?

I'm thinking of replacing my stock radiator brackets with one of those polished Steeda brackets and was wondering how they are. are they a nice fit? did anyone need to do any mods to get it to fit properly? any opinions would be great. thanks.

i have a blue adonized one i got off of ebay. it fits good and works good also. installation was easy. i went to home depot and got two allen head bolts to bolt it down with. i like the serious hardware look.

i have a stainless steel one from dugan racing...used the stock bolts, fit into the stock holes and works great

anyone have any pics of one installed? another question, how does it fit with the hood prop rod? fan shroud?

I have the Downs Ford one...

but I can't close the hood with the factory prop rod because of the bracket.

Hey they are $30 and a very quality piece...Not like others that are thin and bend when bolting them in!

Here is a pic of my Steeda polished one piece radiator hold down. My engine bay was very dirty, so trust me it looks really good when things are cleaned up. It should give you a general idea of what they look like installed though. This picture really doesn't do the Steeda piece justice.
Since this picture I have re-routed those ugly wire looms on top of the radiator, ditched my ugly temporary radiator catch can and cleaned things up a bit. It looks quite a bit better now.

Also, it fits nicely and I have no interference problems with the prop rod, I don't have a factory fan shroud, but with the way the Steeda piece installs you shouldn't have a problem.

Hmmm well if giving someone another option is wrong then lock me the ***** up...I don't know the rules i read them 5 years ago and havent looked since... Oh well....
