There was an article in either MMFF or 5.0 that gave a remedy for the switch burnout, and being able to use the foglights independently on or of whenever. Does anyone know which issue and mag it was in, or another article or documented fix???

Thanks

I don't know what issure it's in but it's not a difficult task. Run power from your battery terminal to the power supply terminal of a 30 amp (or larger) relay. From the other supply terminal, run wires in parallel to your fog lights. Ground both fog lights in a convienient location. Run another wire off of accessory power to one side of your fog light switch then to one of the trip terminals on the realy. Ground the other relay trip terminal. Whola... your fog lights will be on so long as the switch is on and the key is in the accessory position.

I used this over the summer. It's very detailed and step by step. No more problems after rewiring them this way.
