87-93 headlight/foglight switch rewiring

There was an article in either MMFF or 5.0 that gave a remedy for the switch burnout, and being able to use the foglights independently on or off whenever. Does anyone know which issue and mag it was in, or another article or documented fix???

I remember it in that magazine but the article above is better in my opinion.
