87 Camaro t5

I got a 87 2.8 v6 camaro borg warner t5 tranny and i was wondering if i bought the ford racing t5 rebuild kit and rebuilt it for a v8 what else would i need? I know i would need a clutch fork, bellhousing, shifter and clutch. Would the existing input shaft work or would i need another? I wanted to put this in a mustang. It would be cheaper then buying a new one i would think. any thoughts?

the shifter sits too far back (or forward) to use the stock consol.
the camaro t5 has to set at a 15* angle... the ford t5 bellhousing has the tranny setting straight up.
you will need a chevy yoke and inner/outer locking ujoints.

the gearbox will bolt up to a mustang tailshaft I'm pretty sure.
