...So it has an overdrive alternator pulley,,,that link shows 1.9 inch as overdrive,,that`s what was on it...So I have a noise, sounds like belt noise at start-up...I`ll remove the belt tomorrow and verify if the noise goes away...the pulley the 3g came with puts the tensioner at midway which is good...but I did not have this chirp noise before the alternator install...and kit`s pissing me off...lol

You are confusing overdrive with underdrive. For the alternator, smaller pulley spins faster, so will help at idle.
I can see alternator is a Carquest, maybe Autozone?
OD is the top of the 6 ribs. Most 3G upgrades are too large & won't give enough amps at idle for the Foxbody.
If yours measures 1.9"OD, it is correct. I've been using this ASP pulley for 25 years.
My pulley appears to be smaller than yours.
Belt noise could be pulleys aren't lining up. Might have to put a shim (large washer) behind the pulley. I never had to do this.

BTW, your engine & bay look like new!!! Looks like it's been stored away for 31 years. It must have lower miles than I do.
Still has the plastic cap on the front of the intake. The glue dries up after a couple years & it falls off, It doesn't cover anything, don't know what it was for.

Crank pulley measure right around 6 inches....so it appears the alternator pulley is the only thing changed..

Stock pulley is right around 2" IIRC. You should be fine with that pulley.

Car has just under 16,000 miles....so it`s been put away for years and years....

I just imnstalled a new 3G 130 amp alt and that turned out sweet,,looks stock,,I hid the wires well..but at start-up I get belt chirp..

The 3G alternator pulley is a lot larger,,so the belt is kinda short..i left the larger pulley on because I don`t think I need that really small pulley,,so did you guys encounter this,,put a longer belt on?????

I also only have defrost on my heater,,it`s an air conditioned car..i have a black vacuum hose dangling on the drivers floor,,lol

some could tell me where that goes would be sweet,,i`m getting too old to stand on my head searching under dashes anymore..lol

There's a vacuum 'motor' attached to the back of the dash. It may go there
