I did a compression test (cold motor) and the results look a little low to me. Does anyone know what numbers I should be getting for a stock 5.0?

Did you hold the throttle wide open and crank for 5 or 6 revolutions??
Try that a see if it changes...
Then squirt some oil in all of the cylinders and crank it again..... If it comes up your rings are probably at fauilt.

What are your thoughts on the interior?

I couldn't help but notice how good a shape everything happens to be in.

The "Porno Red" is getting hard to come by and can't be matched by [anybody] in aftermarket for some damned reason.

Porno Red is a good description of it. Not my favorite color, but I couldn't be picky. I like the grey in my 89 lots more. The carpet is stained but not holed and the front seats are dirty looking from years of the top leaking on them. I've still got the carpet and rear seat out of her, and I like it like that. Lots of room to haul stuff.
You looking for red interior parts Noobs?

Not in particular. The red has grown on me over the years. Largely, because I think I see it get deleted most times.

Mine may also disappear. I've not found material in this color that is a suitable replacement that I could take to an upholsterer.

My interior was red. I swapped it out with a black interior 20+ years ago. Only part i have left is the original dash.

Nowadays i'm a sucker for a clean 87-89 interior with sport seats. I think it's a clean different look and period correct.

Now, i won't be swapping out my black interior anytime soon, but i'm a sucker for a good stock clean interior. I even like the blue interiors from 87-89...i just wish there was a blue sport seat (can take some from a t-bird)

A complete blue set in great shape would be a rare find, indeed.

Often times, when things are deemed worthless and destroyed, they tend to become the more valuable item down the road due to scarcity.
