Hi, I was wondering if anyone can give me a general idea of ground effect installation. My mustang has no ground effects on it currently due to rust problems underneath but I realized I have no idea how to put them on when I am done. Any help would be appreciated.

So, it did have the GT trim on there at that be time?

You mention rust, and I assume repair as well.

Do you have the brackets that attach to the car for the mouldings to hang off of?

Post a couple pictures for us so we can wrap our heads around the situation.

We just need a little more info.

The top slides into metal brackets. The bottom has plastic push in retainers.

I haven't actually gotten around to making rust repairs yet because it is very cold and snowy here currently. Once it gets warm enough to do the repairs I will but the worst spot is on the passengers side rear fender(as shown in the pictures). Other than that there aren't very major holes in the body. The car did originally have ground effects on it but the holes and rust underneath them got so bad that I took them off to make the repairs.

So you already have plans for the right 1/4 repair?
