87 stalling when going into gear (auto)

my 87 stalls when I put it in reverse or drive after it warms up. Its fine all day long as far as starting and stopping, but when I have to put in reverse it stalls out. Then itll stall going back into drive. I can give it a little gas, get it moving, and itll be fine. Just that initial "switch" kills it. Any ideas? My mods: TFS heads, b cam, cobra intake, mass air conversion, 76mm ma, 24# inj, typical bolt ons. Help me out. Thanks!!

The first two posts contain all the updates to the fixes. At last count there were 24 possible causes and fixes for surging idle/stall problems. I continue to update it as more people post fixes or ask questions.

Thats the cylinder thing on the side of the throttle body right? if so, yes I cleaned it out. It was a little dirty but not too bad.
