I have my 87 mustang, just got done redoing the whole front end.... K-member, Control arms, struts/springs, tie rods, rack, and steering link. However, I still have play in my column somewhere...
If I need to replace my column, what years could I use. I know that the later models have Airbags, but couldn't I still use them? Let me know fellas. I wanna pick up the nicest one I can find and the junker yard, and hope year specs aren't going to be an issue.
I have a grant steering wheel as well, and the bolt was a little loose, but still not a factor in the steering play. (there is no play at all under the car up to the connection to where the steering link connects to the column.
