Engine 88 gt long tube plug change

Go back to post #28, do the checklist step by step. It will cover everything that causes problems like you are describing.
If you are hearing the engine 'rattle' (spark knock) then you are killing that engine.
I don't recall if you said what your miles were on the car.
Also if you could give us a pic of the engine, maybe we can spot something out of wack.
Also some things to point out. The ACT sensor isn't plugged in to any thing. Also this might not make any sense to you guys. But I can't find any egr any wehre. You can see in the pictures. It's literally not there on back of the tb.

Some things I noticed from the pics
the charcoal canister is not hooked up or missing all together.
The wiring on the alternator is sketchy
The egr is missing, that is not a real problem though.
The clamps on the intake tubes look loose and we need a pic of the air filter area.

Yeah I had it loose I was messing with the header on that side. I'll get a pic
