88 lx t-top?

I know the production numbers are sketchy but does anyone have any idea how rare a 1988 Lx Hatchback 2.3L four cylinder t-top mustang is, or if they even made any? I just bought one with a V8 in it but the vin is for an original 2.3. I have found that t-tops in 88 are rare anyways, but for a four banger?

it was an option for the four as well as the eight cylinder. the 88's are hold overs from 87 and was the last sale year for ttop cars.

good luck finding this information i have an 88 gt and an 87 lx both are t-tops and rare i would love to know the numbers on these as well. i live in michigan and have been to cars and concepts in the late eighties when they were still in business.i went there with a friend of mine but we were not able to get in.it's too bad no one that worked there can provide information on this subject.i don't think we will ever get an accurate number for these cars.i do remember it being like a 2500 dollar option and that was pretty steep back then.

I've heard the T top vin code is the same as a vert. Is that true. If so I guess you will never know the T top numbers.
