88 Maf Conversion Done Wrong By Po

So my 88 LX has been running pig rich and randomly dying when reaching normal operating temp. I have also had issues getting the key on codes to dump, so I have been on a mission to reverse engineer everything that the PO did.

Tonight I retraced his MAF conversion. Ends up he didn't move the white/red nor green/black wire. I'm not sure if that will solve the richness issue nor getting the key on codes, but I'll find out tomorrow.

My question is if someone would be able to confirm if he hooked the 4 wires from the MAF harness correctly. The red and black are correct, but I'm not sure on the other two colors. The harness he used had a green and yellow wire. He put the green in pin 9 and the yellow in pin 50.

Does that sound right for the color of the wires?

Thanks all!

What model computer? - A9L (5 speed), A9S (California) or A9P (auto trans)?

Can you get the codes to dump? If not then you have computer or wiring problems.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the other two wires are fine. I am now able to get the key on codes with no problem. Ends up the code showed that I had a bad coolant temperature sensor, which was causing the car to die and not start after getting to normal driving temp. I replaced the sensor and the problem is gone and the codes are clear. Thanks for the help!
