Suspension 88 power steering

Recently replaced my power rack and I’m to happy with the feel. Steering wheel feels really light. Bought from rockauto and it supposed to be for a sport suspension. Didn’t buy the cheapest nor the most expensive. I’m running fresh type F fluid through it. Is there anything I can do, outside a new rack, to stiffen it up? Will switching fluid types change the feel? Don’t want to go manual rack. Any advice is appreciated.

Short of running the front tire air pressure at 5 lbs not much you can do that I know of.

Confirm it's the right rack. 4 cyl rack is 3 turns lock to lock. V8 rack is 2.25-2.5

If it is a V8 rack and still too light, look into an sn95 rack swap
