Hey guys. I need some help. I just picked up an 89 LX 5.0. I went over the car and did all that I could to it before driving it. The car sat for about ayear or more. I did the front and rear brakes, fuel filter, air filter, front bearings, shocks and struts and so on. It ran good for about 3 weeks. Now I have a bad vibration in the rear. Mostly noticed over 45 mph. When it starts, its only when I let off the gas. Then after about 20 miles it does it while maintaining speed and when I let off. If I get on it, the vibration goes away. I ruled out the tires. I did notice that the rear is leaking fluid but before I asumed it was as simple as adding more I wanted some opinions from those that would know. Thanks :bang:

Check your U-joints, pinion nut, tires, and harmonic balancer. These are the common parts that cause vibrations although a bad bearing in the rearend could also. A broken motor or tranny mount could cause funny vibrations also.
