I have the same problem, but its not until I hit about 160+ (km/h)...the thing is, if it was the driveshaft it would be based on revolutions, not speed. Therefore it would do it in all gears when it hits that certain rpm. If you're talking 60 mph, and lets assume you have 2:73 gears, then you're probably sitting in and around 2000 rpm, if you're in fifth. If the vibration doesnt occur at similar rpms in lower gears then it really shouldnt be the driveshaft... I would get your wheels re-balanced, I've seen and felt what unbalanced tires feel like, its probably quite similar to what you are experiencing.

This is incorrect. It is based on the speed of the car. I had this issue myself. NOW, If you get a higher rear say you go from a 3.08 to 4.10, it will happen earlier at speed based on that scenario.

Take the driveshaft up to a shop and have it checked. In one thread a while back someone said to rotate the driveshaft at the diff. in 45degree increments. See if it gets worse or better. Then try to rotate it again to where it gets less vibration. If that doesn't work, the bushing doesn't work and the driveshaft checks out good. I would suspect the axle/carrier bearings are worn.

Take it to get the tires rebalanced... watch them do it and make sure the all 0.00 out... watch for any hop in the tire or bends in the rim... if you see any movement... tell them to ride match it... or some shoips refer to it as road force... check for counterbalance as well (two or more weights on the same side of the wheel in different spots) because your tires will 0 out with a counterbalance but its not correctly balanced... but like i said make sure the balancer reads 0.00 0.00... dont accept a 0.00 0.25 because trust me i do that all the time
