89 mustang OBD-II?

title says it all! my friend was using the digimoto on his toyota tacoma and i love it! i was curious if the 89 stang was OBD-II compliant?

No, the Mustang 5.0L is controlled by an EEC-IV computer, it is not OBD-II.

ok so there is no way to plug in diagnostic stuff into it?

The EEC-IV has a diagnostic port located in the rear of the driver's side engine bay. It consists of a trapazoidal-shaped connector and a small single-pin connector. This can be plugged into any $20 EEC-IV code reader.

However, EEC-IV is not capable of delivering real-time data, or as complete diagnostics as the OBD-II systems.
