Are there any desireable parts good for a classic (68 coupe) to look for on an 89 Thunderbird SC?

I found one locally parting out, and it seems that I remember seeing it as a source for 'something' in the past, but I can't recall now. Or, am I remembering my Fox days?

except for the engine and transmission, not much else fits the early mustangs. and even with the engine, you will have to fab up mounts.

Is it the IRS Tbird or the solid axle one ? If its the solid axle, an 8.8 conversion would be nice as the rear disc setup on those are one of the better ones and it will have a posi.

Well, ask the guy if it is a stick axle and see if its got disc/posi. Maybe you can steal it for cheap.
