I converted to a mass air a little bit ago, but to my knowledge the 8ld was a ho fire order ecu. My car only runs properly if I use a non ho spark plug set up. I've checked the ecu connector to the injector plug and everything lines up correctly. Always saw you need to swap wires around for no ho cam to even work. trying to get a stock ho cam in it and I don't want to run into any problems. Anyone else ever had a non ho cam with 8ld?
8LD is a sequential fuel ECU using the HO firing order. The injector firing sequence mirrors that of the HO firing order.
I believe the trick to running the non-HO cam and firing order is to swap the wiring of two of the injectors.
