So from my other thread, my trans blew up last night. I've got a built 357 Cleveland on motor that did that, and the plate system will be going back on when the new trans goes in.

So I need to upgrade the rest of my drive train to take the shock of a 4500 stall converter and a 200 shot.

Small bearing 28 spline stock 9" rear. 4.11's. I plan on running high 10's in the 1/4, trapping upwards of 120 mph.

What axles, bearings, case and rear will handle this? I have NO problem running a full spool, since my car is a budget build and I don't drive it too often. I have a friend who is a Moser Dealer, but he's a Chevy guy.

31 spline enough? Should I just go with the higher spline while I'm at it? Can I fit a 35 spline axle in a small bearing housing? I'm not swapping out the housing right now, I just don't have the cash.
