I have a new custom made 9 inch Ford housing with the big Torino ends on it. I have been looking at brakes for it and I think I may go with a disc set up. I see a few people offer an Explorer disc kit that is supposed to bolt on. If that is the case, Could I rob the brakes off of a salvage Explorer with an 8.8 and bolt them to my 9 inch ?

No you can not. There not just bolt on. You need to do so mods. If I was you I would spend the little extra money and get a conversion kit of Cj pony. That's my plan. I know a few guys that went the explore rout and they ended up just buying the conversion kit. Just my 2 cents
