Electrical 90-93 hvac control head in my 87 Gt?

Hey guys just noticed that my 87 Gt has an hvac unit and dash from a 90-93. I realize that the mode and blower speeds are in different spots in the 87-89 and 90-93 but other than that they seem to be the exact same plugs? Any one ran into this before and know if this is an issue?

Same plugs, just in different spots. It's not an issue.

I have a 90-93 control in my '88 because I'm running a 90-93 black dash. TBH, I like the looks of the 87-89 unit more.
