90 GT in Bakersfield CA

Hello, I’m Hector from Bakersfield California. Just bought a1990 mustang GT. Car needs electrical work. Put a battery in it, put key in ignition. Lights came on the dash momentarily and then nothing. Battery cables look pretty corroded so I’ll start there. Looking forward to learning and asking questions.
