Either rings, or valve stem seals.

Compression test numbers can be misleading since big oil leaks can help seal everything up well.

Smokes on start up after the car was recently ran?
Smokes only when loaded/wot?
How is the crankcase ventilated?

A leak down test will supply better information than a compression test.

smokes just a lil when idle, and driving...when u stomp it then it smokes bad...the crankcase is only vented thru the pcv...though there isnt any smoke from the dipstick, and i have seen that on other vehicles when the rings are bad. for 30$ i can put new valve stem seals on it so i will do that next...the motor is very strong...just doesnt feel like it is the rings...gut feeling or wishfull dreaming...lol

There's a really good thread if you search. It's called something like, "oil consumption". I would diagnose the problem before throwing parts at it. Seems like the owner before already went that route.

well to be honest i dont have the time or money not to mention the place to do a engine rebuild...i can have the motor out and back in the car in under 24 hours...done it with my last GT...but i had the time and place to do it...i am hoping and praying it is just valve stem seals...

the smoke is so heavy when i WOT...white and blue and lil black from the car needing a tune up...it pretty much smokes all the time though...when i let off the throttle to shift it blows a bit of smoke too...but just driving i dont see anything unless i get on it....

Make sure the intake bolts are tight.

A buddy of mine had a similar issue and turns out he had some intake bolts lose after his head swap.

Good luck.

I got the same problem, but my engine has 250k miles on it, so I am betting the rings are toasted.
