Just purchased a silver 90 gt hatch with a 4.6 cobra motor. Motor is stock as far as i know, with catless exhauast and muffler swith dumps. Car has aje tubular k-memeber and a arms, coil over front suspension, no ac, no ps. aluminum radiator. Fiberglass 3" cowl hood. Weld rims big an littlies. full 14 point cage, all rear interior removed, only from seats with harness, and battery in trunk with kill switch out the trunk. Some kind of aftermarket fuel system added on to the stock tank. 4.30 gears with a c-4, with ratchet shifter.

I have no idea how fast it is, just wondering if anyone has dones the swap, or know what times to expect.

ps it would not let me submit a new thread on the 5.0 forums for some reason.

i'm curious how they made it work with no p/s.

reason i say is all the 4.6's use a hydroboost cuz they are too big to clear a vacuum booster.

Good point Ben, I'm wondering that too.

It sounds like a killer car. It should skoot pretty good due to its power to weight ratio. I bet that car is under 3100lbs without driver.

Whatcha all think?:

With a set-up like that (trackish car with skinnies), a manual rack conversion would be a move I'd make.

yes it runs in the process of changing the front seal, although I replaced it and it is still leaking, its pouring tranny fluid out the front badly.
