what not to love about a 3.8 n/a auto slowness....i thought it was quick too......till i drove a 5.0.....

i havent talked to blake in a while...wonder if he has all the bugs worked out of the new drivetrain.

RB26 has twin ceramic (aka crappy) T28s from the factory. A stock RB26 on RWD configuration (the Skyline GT-R, which it comes from) has "276 hp" through all 4 wheels. It's more like 276whp, stock. You can't crank the boost with the ceramic T28s, but when you get aftermarket snails, you can go to town. I think 390whp is easy..provided that he actually has an RB26.

Stock turbines are good for 15psi safely and up to ~18 intermittently if you are feeling crazy. Like you said the exhaust wheels are ceramic and will break apart if consistently running above 1bar. And 15psi on an RB26 is around 325whp through a GT-R drivetrain and more if in a RWD RB25 transmission configuration. I ran mine at 1bar for about a year and never had any problems even occasionally going as high as 18psi

I've heard reports of turning up the boost just once, and having them go before full boost. I guess it's a condition thing..
