I am hoping to get it into the mid 10's eventually. I am hoping to find a build that I can copy to get me to where I want to be. Normally I would experiment but work schedule does not allow. So I will have to take the easy and copy someone else s build. It almost sounds like cheating.

Eh, you can't build a combo that hasn't been done before by somebody somewhere.

you are correct on the combo. However I enjoy sitting down and doing the research on each part. Making sure everything works together properly to produce the greatest amount of hp and torque in the desired RPM range.

Here is the kit that was recommended to me. Stage 2 boost cooler kit... $410.00 shipped. Add a safeinjection system for $158... What is recommended to refill the water/meth kit? Is it actually windshield washer fluid?

Of the two heads AFR and TFS which would you recommend? I do not know what compression ratio the pistons are. All I know is that they are Probe forged. I guess I will have to pull the heads to determine this before choosing heads wouldn't I? Also what are the specs of the cam you recommended? I will look everything else over and try to have an order ready the first of the week. I am swapping the supercharger from the Powerdyne the is making 6lbs of boost to a Vortech V-S trim and will be making 12lbs of boost. Is the Snow Performance Stage 2 Boost Cooler Kit a complete water/meth kit?
Thanks
Matt

I would go with the AFR heads, Ive had TFS before and when I sold my car my buddy swapped them out for AFR's and the car made more power and just felt more responsive. I wouldnt get rid of the welds, I think it works well with the paint scheme. You may find with a different set of rims the car wont look so good...IMO Its a unique paint so be careful.

Matt, did you get a build sheet that lists what pistons they are? I listed both just incase they were a FPS sereis and not the SRS so the inline valve 2.02" AFR will not clear...then the TFS heads are a clear choice.

Ive made similar power between the 2 heads, you can not compare the basic TFS 170cc heads to the 190cc I quoted, 2 different animals..they make and support big power. You cant compare a AFR 185 to the TFS TW 170cc either.
I personally am a AFR fan and the RHS stuff has really been impressed...cam profile depends on the combo Ill pick different lobes. Maybe something in the .550-.570 range 224-236 duration on a 112 or so, I have a few profles in mind ;)

Snow kit is complete everything you need to install...Safe Injection is extra, same goes for for Boost Juice (I personally prefer the boost juice)

Boost Juice™

Boost Juice™ is Snow Performance’s proprietary mix of 49% methanol and 51% water. It is made in a controlled environment with special care to make sure the ratios are accurate to result in a high performance water-methanol fluid formulated for use in the Boost Cooler™ injection system. Boost Juice is required as the exclusive fluid for lifetime warranty.

I am assuming since the car is boosted that it will have flat top pistons. I hate not knowing what exactly is in the block. I also hate to pull the heads to look but if I have to I will. I am also a AFR fan. I have not used any RHS stuff. I sent the previous owner an email about the pistons so hopefully he will get back to me soon. I am used to putting my own engine together and have a hard time trusting people when they can only tell you what is in it. It would be very easy to lie to someone just to sell a car. But I fell in love with it and had to have it anyway. If I cannot find out I may just get a new short block and build it. At least I would know exactly what I have. I have looked at strokers and have heard that the 331 is more reliable than the 347. Have you ever heard this?
