92' 2.3l mustant

Hey, I got a 2.3l 92 mustang, automatic and i wanna put some money into it to get it moving. i'd like some advice and direction to go in. sorry about the title, can't fix it

Get it moving as in running or faster?
If you're talking speed, in naturally aspirated form the only things worth doing are a cold air intake and en exhaust (some will argue they're not even worth it). There are links in the tech forum as well as this one concerning those 2 modifications.
The 2.3 turbo engine swap is the bread and butter of this forum; plenty of links throughout it.

i def want to get rid of the automatic, but i don't know what to go with. 5.0 or 2.3turbo? this will basically be the first car i've ever worked on, and i have to find and buy everything i want to put in it. and i want to get it moving fast, it runs already.

Search this forum for 2.3 turbo swap info and search the 5.0 forum for 5.0 swap info. The 2.3 turbo swap can be done much cheaper and you don't have to change as much either.
