92 dash lights don't work

I was just wondering if anyone has the same problem that i do. My 92 gt has had the dash and boost gauge blown for a while now. One day i was driving and they all just went dark all at once. I checked the fuses and they are all fine. The headlights still work though. Also i have a red brake light that flashes in between the speedo and tach every once in a while without the brakes even being engaged, but it mostly stays on most of the time. HELP PLEASE.

Since you have checked the fuses and they were good then more than likely the problem lies in the dimmer assembly.

The brake light is to indicate when the parking brake is engaged. I believe that there is a little switch mounted on the ebrake handle assembly. Its pretty common for the switch to kinda flake out. My 91, 93 and 88 all have done it but I am lazy so I just live with it.

Mine did it... I knew it was the dimmer, cause everytime I tried to brighten them, fuse would blow. Then it stopped working completely. New dimmer assembly and bingo, problem fixed.
