1992 Mustang Limited Ed Feature Convertible T5
I hate to sell this but have no choice now. Here is some info on the 92 Feature:
-2193 cars made (1406 automatics, 787 manual) This one is factory T5 so its rare.
-body colored mirrors and trim
-white convertible roof with factory headliner (only fox with this)
-unique Feature spoiler
-16” Opal Pearlescent Pony wheels
-unique white leather seating surfaces w/ black piping
Here is the straight truth. I bought this car from an old man in Atlanta, GA. He mostly stored it. Still had the silencer in the fender, original plugs and wires, etc. I put a new top and new hydraulic cylinders and lines. I have had tons of fox body mustangs. I took this one somewhat apart so I could paint the engine etc. While down I put a new steering rack and outer tie rod ends on it. I'm so picky about stuff one thing lead to another and I've painted or replaced a lot of pieces along the way with new stuff. The bad.....I'm in a spot now where I cant keep it. All that is left to do is put the power steering pump back on, radiator and fan in and fill it up with fluids (which I have sitting there). I drove this car every day for a couple years so it is solid. It has zero rust. I'm honestly just tired of cars right now. Sad but true. The car has been sitting under a cover for 2 years now. I paid $8500 for this car and put another $2500 in it. I had an offer of $12500 before I decided to sell it. Now I will really entertain any offer. I would hate to take less than the original price I paid for the car but honestly I just don't care anymore so shoot me an offer and I may surprise you.
Car has 135k give or take (cant remember) on it. It only needs a weekend of work to finish it and drive. I'd just as soon sell it like it sits though. If need be I may be able to finish it for you....not really what I want to do. I'll proly regret this one day because with the top down the car gets loads of attention and it is very sharp when clean. Please call me and discuss this if you are interested.
